Last but not least of the Windrunner sisters is the youngest Vereesa. Many of her choices were aimed toward mimicking her older sister Sylvanas, which led the younger high elf to join the Farstriders as her sisters had before her. Some races come with great intelligence but very little stamina, meaning your character might not last as long during battle. As you continue to play the game, you’ll be able to earn more points and spend them on various attributes, tweaking your character until they’re just how you want them. In World of Warcraft, “races” aren’t like they are in real life. The races are the types of characters that make up each faction — humans, orcs, night elves, etc. A paladin is not just a mere warrior who swings shiny swords and attacks his enemies, but a combination of holy warriors who use their weapons and embrace their magical powers in battles.

My Night Elf warrior, for the brief time that I was raiding on the Alliance side of things, was named Rageleaf. Alleria Windrunner is the eldest of the sisters, and much was expected of her family’s place in their society. She was next in line, after her mother, to be the Ranger General of Silvermoon; However, Alleria felt her place was elsewhere. She fought against the Old Horde when it invaded Lordaeron, but it cost her greatly. Her mother Lireesa and brother Lirath both fell to the blades of the orcs. Following the orcs’ defeat, Alleria found comfort in the arms of her wartime ally, the paladin Turalyon.

Has had one or two major effects on Azeroth and/or its people. I’m a Wonder Woman fanatic, married to my Superman, with a mild addiction dance company names to tea and World of Warcraft. One day I hope to write a book that history recognizes as a classic; it will most likely involve dragons.

She is a great example of why it is important to rely not only on yourself but also on those around you. Draka was a member of the Frostwolf Clan before giving her life to protect her son, Thrall. But in World of Warcraft, death doesn’t mean gone forever. Draka found her new purpose within the House of Eyes under Margrave Akarek. She is a key playing in the war against the Jailer and saving Maldraxxus from the anima drought.

Nicknamed Tyri, Tyrygosa is a blue dragon who can take elven form. She has a quick temper and is full of pride and confidence. A black dragon and Deathwing’s daughter and ruler of the Black Dragonflight. Alexstrasza, the Life-Binder, Queen of all dragons, has a red dragon form and an elf-like form. An enormous, purple and black dragon that breathes green flames who appears in Sleeping Beauty. It is unclear whether she is a dark sorceress who can turn into a dragon, or a dragon who can shapeshift into a human.

Mages have the benefit of tons of skills, abilities, and specs that all incorporate very well into character names if you’re going the clever pun route. Grimsheeper and Sheepwithme take the predictable Polymorph route while still retaining a bit of cleverness. Foodspec and Refreshments are some of my favorite if only because they put mages in their place.
