Extremely happy that I signed up for this class, she is a great professor and very nice. Great professor, clear, organized, and you can tell she enjoys her job. Assignments were easy and do not take long to complete, no tests or quizzes only 2 midterm papers. She provides the book in PDF format but you won’t really need it.
There was the flexibility of the hybrid although there was a recorded video and assignment each week and another assignment during class. “Across the board, in terms of socioeconomics, lower-income people and immigrants oftentimes live in the more inner areas of Brockton, places where there isn’t as much access to the natural environment,” Boellstorff said. Might be useful to have a synchronous part, but every Sunday she sends us hours each day the following week she is in our zoom session.
